Currently I am a Propulsion Systems Attribute Engineer in the Electric Vehicle Energy Management Systems (EVEMS) Department.

I graduated from the of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, May 2019, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2017 I was a co-op intern with Honda R&D specifically working in the Transmission Design department at their facility in Ohio. In 2018, I worked at Ford Motor Company in the Product Development – Electrified Powertrain Engineering department specifically in the High Voltage Battery Systems On-Going Production Development group. I am now at Ford full time in Product Development. I started in Ford's College Graduate (FCG) rotation program specifically focused on powertrain for hybrid and electric vehicles. After rotating through 6 different teams at Ford I chose to land in the EV Energy Management Systems Department (formally part of Electrified Powertrain) in a Systems Attribute Engineering role.

On campus I served on the U of I executive board of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers professional organization for two consecutive years. I was also inducted into Pi Tau Sigma, the honors fraternity, my senior year. I spent all four years as an active member of the Formula SAE team specifically working on the engine and drivetrain sub-teams. For two years I also worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Center (ACRC) studying vapor compression cycles and improvements in efficiency for automotive applications.

Beyond engineering, I love hiking, skiing, and being outside! I am also good at book recommendations, making musical theatre references, and I can make a first rate chocolate mousse.
